Applications are invited to apply for the 2023-24 NCTU International Student Scholarships in Taiwan. NCTU International Student Scholarships By Scholarship Just All international students from all over the world are eligible to apply for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarships for Autumn 2023 in Taiwan. Students who wish to study in Taiwan with a fully funded scholarship are encouraged to apply. This is the most prestigious award from a Taiwanese university for obtaining a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree at NCTU. The scholarship is available for the academic year 2023-2024. This scholarship is provided by the Taiwan government (the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Science and Technology).
MOFA Scholarship NCTU International Student Scholarships By Scholarship Just:
- Monthly Stipend: NT$30,000
- One Direct Round-Trip Economy-Class Ticket
MOE Scholarship:
- Waiver of tuition and certain fees
- Recipients can only study at universities participating in the Taiwan Scholarship Program Union
- Mainly for recipients from eligible countries designated by the MOE.

Eligibility Criteria for NCTU Scholarship:
In order to apply for the Chiao Tung University National Scholarship 2023-24, candidates must meet the following criteria:
International applicants except for Taiwan with any other nationality are welcome to apply.
Applicants must be healthy both physically and mentally.
Candidates who are recipients of any other scholarships are not eligible.
Applicants should fill out the application form correctly, and honestly, and complete and submit the application form as required by the university.
Candidates who have a certificate of secondary education can apply for a bachelor’s degree program.
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree can apply for a master’s degree.
Students with a Master’s degree can apply for a Ph.D.
Documents Required:
Students have to prepare the following document before applying for NCTU International Student Scholarships 2023-24 in Taiwan:
- Online Application Form
- The Highest Degree Diploma is verified with official stamps.
- The highest degree Transcript
- 2 Letters of Recommendations: (Must be written by the candidate’s Teacher, Advisor, or Employee).
- Valid Passport Copy
- The study plan must be written in Chinese or English.
- English Language Proficiency: If the applicant’s previous degree was taught in English, then the candidate can submit English Proficiency Certificate from the previous institute.
- Academic thesis or relevant publications (for Ph.D. program applicants).
Application Deadline:
The last date to apply for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarships in Taiwan 2023-24 is 15th March 2023 for Fall Intake and 30th September 2023 for Spring Intake.
